Square Enix Releases Wizardlings!
Do you have an iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch? Do you wish you could play an RPG on there while you’re waiting for the bus? Well, it looks like you’re in luck as Square Enix has just released a new iOS game, Wizardlings!
Wizardlings is what Square Enix is calling a “casual tap adventure RPG”. Basically, the world is covered in darkness, and you need to tap the tiles to reveal what’s around you. Sometimes you’ll find stuff like flowers and other non-threatening objects that you can use to create spells based on Water, Fire, Charge (lightening), Air, or Holy damage. Other times you’ll reveal monsters that you need to defeat to help restore light to the world.
Wizardlings is free to play, and can be downloaded through iTunes. However, this is also one of those types of games that is being heavily supported by micro-transactions. But still, it might be worth checking out if you have nothing better to do one afternoon!
