Details Come For Assassin’s Creed Anthology From Ubisoft

Yesterday we spread the word that Amazon France held a listing for Assassin’s Creed Anthology, a bundle that includes every single game in the Assassin’s Creed series, including the just-released Assassin’s Creed III. Though the listing detailed quite a bit, there was still some fog on a couple of things about the release, namely whether it would be available in the US or not.

Ubisoft has come out to comment on the bundle, offering up a bit more details than we had previously seen. A representative from the developer has stated, sadly, that the Anthology is not currently scheduled for a North America release yet. It will, however, be releasing via Amazon in Europe on November 29th for €150 and in the UK on November 30th for £119.99.

We also learned that the Anthology does in fact come with the Assassin’s Creed III season pass which will allow you to pick up each future piece of DLC to release for the game. There will be five exclusive lithographs, a steel book, and a collector’s box included in the bundle as well. Though this is somewhat upsetting news, I’m holding on to the fact that Ubisoft stated it’s “not currently” scheduled for a US release. That doesn’t mean it’s a solid no, so we’ll hold on to some hope. If any word is mentioned on a North America release, we’ll be here to update.
