Ubisoft Has No Plans For ZombiU DLC At This Time

Anymore whenever you buy a game there’s bound to be some sort of DLC for it. After all, what better way to milk more money out of your game than to release a new map or set of costumes every few months? So, in this age of DLC being pushed for everything under the sun, surely a big game like ZombiU will have some sort of DLC, right?

According to Ubisoft, don’t count on it. Apparently the developers managed to complete everything they wanted to do with the game, and thus don’t have any plans for DLC at this time. That’s a refreshing change of pace, if I do say so myself.

Of course, that doesn’t mean they aren’t considering DLC at all. Apparently, if the game is successful enough there’s a real possibility that there is some DLC developed for the game, and I have to say, that’s exactly the way the DLC process should work in my opinion. Instead of having tons of DLC available for purchase on the launch day, what more companies ought to do is release a game, see how well it does and get some feedback on what people want, and then make the DLC based on their research! It’d be cheaper than developing a full sequel, and at the same time it gives people more of the game they love.
