Borderlands 2 Xbox 360 Patch Fixes Badass Rank Issues

Borderlands 2, in my opinion is a pretty damn good game. After all, there are billions and billions of guns in the game, with tons of fun quests and challenges to be completed while dealing with that that smarmy butthole Jack. Unfortunately, the game has suffered from some bugs, but it looks like there’s finally a fix for the Xbox 360 version of the game!

One of the major issues with the game was the fact that some people were losing their Badass rank with no way of getting it back, essentially keeping them from getting their bonuses that they should have been getting. Gearbox has fixed it, by modifying how the profile behaves in order to better protect the Badass rank you’ve gotten. And for those of you who have lost your Badass rank, you’re in luck: they’ve also added a feature that will detect and restore your Badass rank. All you have to do is load your character, select “C0ntinue” on the main menu, and then “Save and Quit” once you’re in the game. At that point, your Badass rank should return, and you’ll be able to redistribute your bonuses as you want.

And while we’re talking about challenges, Gearbox has added another new feature! With this patch you’ll now be able to reset all of your challenge progress in order to re-complete them for additional ranks and bonuses. In order to do it, however, you’ll have to complete at least 85% of all non-DLC, non-area-specific challenge levels, and only then will you have the option to reset your rankings.
