Steam Now Emails You When Wishlist Items Go On Sale

If you’re anything like me, you probably have a library of games that you still haven’t gotten around to playing. However, you still feel the need to pick up new games when they go on sale. Steam sales are almost always great for this, but there’s nothing like realizing that game you really wanted went on sale, and you missed it. If only there was some way to be notified when a sale was happening, that interests you.

Steam users have long been asking for a feature that would have them be notified when something in their wishlist went on sale. It seems that Valve has listened, and quietly rolled out this feature. You’ll need to go to your Account Details, then click on Email Settings to find it.

Now, all you need to do is go through and add games to your wishlist. Then, when one of them goes on sale, you’ll get an automated email from Steam. How awesome is that?
