Next Borderlands 2 Vault Hunter Announced At PAX East
If you’re looking for a new vault hunter to explore the wastes of Pandora with, well you’re in luck! Over the weekend at PAX East Gearbox announced that a 6th playable class will be coming this May. In the new Psycho Pack, which will cost $9.99 (or 800 MS points), you can get Krieg the Psycho Bandit.
Krieg is a “badass melee mauler” that’s going to be right at home getting up close and personal with the enemy. That’s not to say that he doesn’t have any ranged abilities, but with his buzz axe and his many psychotic multiple personalities, you’d be INSANE not to close the distance and hack everyone apart. The three skill trees for Krieg are the combat bonus-centered Bloodlust tree, the insane Mania tree, and the flame-filled Hellborn tree.
Gearbox also announced the Ultimate Vault Hunter Upgrade Pack at PAX East this weekend. Available April 2nd, the pack will raise the level cap from 50 to 61, and is part of the season pass. You’ll also be able to unlock a third play through with the Ultimate Vault Hunter Mode. If you don’t have the season pass, you can get this pack for $5, or 400 MS points.
