Grand Theft Auto V Box Art Revealed
If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it! That seems to be the thinking behind the box art for Grand Theft Auto V, which was just revealed yesterday. It’s sporting the trademark collage style that the GTA series is most known for, and let’s be honest, it looks quite a bit better compared to other blockbuster games out there.
On the box art you’ve got the 3 main protagonists, Franklin, Trevor, and Michael. Franklin is holding the handgun on the bottom, while Trevor is off to the side holding the sniper rifle, and Michael is on the jet ski just under the title. The rest of the box art has the staples of a GTA game: women, cars, and overall action.
Over the past weekend Rockstar started painting a mural of the box art before it was officially released, but some folks got impatient. They took the pictures of the unfinished mural, where you could see the outlines that the painters were using to make the mural, and went ahead and filled it in themselves. Compared to the final result, it’s a pretty close match!
