Poker Night At The Inventory 2 Is Announced, And Is Dealing In New Players

A little over a couple of years ago Poker Night At The Inventory was released, and for being a simple Texas Hold ‘Em simulator, it was pretty good. It wasn’t the card game itself that made it awesome, but rather the fact that your fellow players were a bit on the famous/insane side. You had Strong Bad (Homestar Runner), Tycho (Penny Arcade), The Heavy (TF2), and Max (Max and Sam series) as your poker buddies for the night, and they were hilarious, with lots of back and forth bantering and story telling. It was a real treat, for not a lot of money.

Well Poker Night at the Inventory 2 is now coming up, giving you a chance to play against some other psychotic folks this  time around. This time, you’ll be playing against Sam (Max and Sam series), Claptrap (Borderlands), Ash Williams (Evil Dead) and Brock Sampson (The Venture Bros.). Your dealer? GLaDOS.

Yes, this game did have the misfortune of being announced on April 1st, but rest assured, it’s real. This time besides Tex Hold ‘Em you can also play Omaha style poker, and instead of being limited to the PC,Poker Night 2 is being released for the Xbox Live Arcade and the PlayStation Network sometime later this month. All in all, it should be a good, cheap way to spend an afternoon playing virtual poker. For similar games, check here the Slot Games in Ireland.
