What entices you to buy a new game? Is is the art style, story, genre, or all three? Some may be more drawn to sports or shooter-themed games, but what about those of us who like belly dancing?
Shantae: Half Genie Hero isn’t going to teach you how to move, but its main character does know how to lay it down. By doing so, she also happens to change into animals, swords, and well…anything really. This is a game about a half genie who is hair-whipping her way to find out what an evil force is up to.
Currently, this is a Kickstarter campaign, but it has already been approved for Wii U, PS3, PS4, Vita, Vita TV, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and Steam. It’s definitely cute and lively, and will consist of three different chapters. There are literally 109 minutes to go as I’m writing this, and getting the game will cost you $15. They’ve got a huge amount of stretch goals left, and I’m watching the numbers slowly creep up to new heights, so you may get more than you bargained for.
