Sony Details What Extras You’ll Find In Your PS4 Box!

With the PS4 coming out later this week it’s pretty easy to see that Sony is looking to pick up some brand-new long-term customers. After all, many folks were dissatisfied with Microsoft’s unveiling of the Xbox One, from the lack of support for simple things like used games and offline play, to the fact that in many ways Microsoft was just so arrogant that even though gamers were asking for one thing, Microsoft was telling them they needed something completely different. So, since it’s looking like Sony is going to be picking up some new customers, it’s not a surprise to see them throw in some goodies in each PS4!

First off, you’ll get a voucher for a 30 day free trial of Sony’s Music Unlimited. That should hopefully do you well on the custom music front for awhile, and if we’re lucky by the time the free 30 day trial ends Sony might end up enabling MP3 and DLNA streaming to the console in a patch. You’ll also get a 30 day free trial of PlayStation Plus, Sony’s answer to Xbox Live Gold that will give members free games and enable online multiplayer capabilities.

The third and final offering is a voucher for a $10 credit towards your PSN account on the PlayStation Store. That $10 can be used for anything, from buying a new game through the store, or even using it to upgrade your PS3 version of a Battlefield 4, Call of Duty: Ghosts, Assassin’s Creed 4, or Injustice: Gods Among Us Ultimate Edition. I gotta say, that’s a pretty sweet little bonus, better than a sticker that says “Day One Edition”!
