Battlefield 4, despite being a load of fun (when it’s working) is quite flawed. From numerous game-crashing bugs to one kit kill issues,BF4 has gotten quite a bit of flak from gamers everywhere who are fed up with a game that could have used another 3 months in development. But, the game is out now, and EA wants folks to know that they’re committed to fixing the game.
And just how committed are they? Here’s a statement from EA:
First, we want to thank the fans out there that are playing and supporting us with Battlefield 4. We know we still have a ways to go with fixing the game – it is absolutely our #1 priority. The team at DICE is working non-stop to update the game. Since Battlefield 4 China Rising expansion pack was already in the final stages of development by the time issues began with Battlefield 4, we decided to fulfill our promise to deliver it this week, but we’re not moving onto future projects or expansions until we sort out all the issues with Battlefield 4. We know many of our players are frustrated, and we feel your pain. We will not stop until this is right.
That’s right folks, they’re putting off their own bread-and-butter until the game is fixed! Hopefully by focusing folks on getting the game fixed we might get a balanced, bug-free game by Christmas! Still, this will likely push back the DLC release schedule, but considering how the Battlefield series isn’t quite as annual as Call of Duty, that probably won’t be quite as big of a deal.
