Remember back in December when we told you that you can get games using your Club Nintendo coins? Well that system is still going on, however there are finally some new games to choose from. There’s even an N64 classic that is just too good to pass up.

Newly added for the year you can grab Dr. Mario for 100 coins, The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask for 150 coins, Kirby’s Dream Land for 100 coins, and Dr. Mario Express for 150 coins. It’s great considering Majora’s Mask is available, and it was one of the best games for the N64 right under The Ocarina of Time. Dr. Mario Express is a DSiWare game, though it can only be redeemed here as a 3DS download.

If you’ve managed to save your coins up, you can pick up these games right now. They will be available until January 31st, at which point the games will be cycled out. Go ahead, grab Majora’s Mask! You know you want to. You can pick the games up at the Club Nintendo site.

Nintendo has recently detailed their first quarter lineup, and details for release dates on some anticipated titles have been detailed. The company announced some details on 3DS titles, WiiWare titles, and even a special piece of hardware that we’ve all been wondering about.

First up is the Circle Pad Pro attachment for the 3DS. It will be a GameStop exclusive and will cost around $20. It’ll be available starting February 7th. As for 3DS software, Kid Icarus got slapped with a release date of March 23rd, which isn’t too terribly far off. Along with this, Rhythm Heaven Fever will be gracing us on February 13th, and it’ll come with a suitable price tag of $29.99.

As for the Wii, Mario Party 9 will drop on March 11th, but before that PokePark 2: Wonders Beyond is set to bust out on February 27th. For the eShop, titles like NightSky, and VVVVVV will be hitting sometime during the first quarter of next year. This is about all that’s worth the mention from the lineup, but you can see the full list here.

If you were a gamer back in the day when the Game Boy was the big handheld, then you’ve no doubt heard of the Game Genie. During those days the Game Genie worked as a cartridge that connected to the handheld, and once connected it allowed the player to manipulate codes for their favorite games that gave them tons of different enhancements.

If you’re looking to pick up one of these sweet products, you can grab one from Amazon. The Game Genie will also be making a showing at the Consumer Electronics Show 2012, so you can look for it there. For the price, this new Game Genie isn’t bad. Besides, it’s always fun to waste enemies with unlimited missiles, right?

A new trailer for the new Resident Evil Revelations title has just released, and while looking really cool, it’s left a lot of fans sitting in confusion. The trailer visits the already-intertwined plot situations that have shown up in the storyline. These elements – the bioterrorism, government coverups, and the like – are shown to us like normal, though it’s through the eyes of the game’s main characters, Jessica Sherwat and Parker Luciani.

The two agents are investigating a bioterrorist attack on the floating city of Terragrigia on behalf of the Bioterrorism Security Assesment Alliance. For all intents and purposes, this is all we know. The images and flashes of other characters, narration, and scenery all come together to leave us all with questions waiting to be asked. Who are these people? Why do they have funny haircuts?

The one thing to pick up from the trailer, though, is the fact that it boasts some amazing visuals. Revelations looks like it will be one handheld title that will be able to fully stand beside its console counterparts. While it raises some brows for the confusing storyline, it raises others even higher for its amazing look. Check it out below.

Fans of Nintendo’s 3DS handheld device know that each of the titles released for it runs a certain price. Of all the new titles on the list to launch for the system, there’s one that sticks out of the normal price bracket. That game would be Resident Evil Revelations. It is set at a $50 price and Capcom is standing behind the jump.

Most titles that roll off the shelves run about $40 total, and this is definitely breaking the mold.  In a statement to Kotaku, Capcom said, “Resident Evil Revelations is an all new Resident Evil title with over 20 hours of gameplay, and cutscenes beautifully rendered in fear-inducing 3D. A true console experience on a handheld device, Resident Evil Revelations is an epic title that offers both a single-player campaign for that classic survival horror gaming experience, and an additional RAID mode that can be played cooperatively or single player. To handle all of that data Resident Evil Revelations requires a 4GB cartridge, resulting in a higher price point.”

In a nutshell, that’s Capcom’s stand on the increase. Basically you’re paying more for more content, which is what most players end up doing anyway. It looks like Capcom wants to provide handheld gamers with a console experience, as to provide an authentic Resident Evil feel. I guess you get what you pay for, right?

This past summer, we’ve been covering a special promotion that Raptr, the social gaming network, has been presenting to gamers from all walks. This Summer of Raptr promotion allowed gamers to pick up some great prizes just for following some of their favorite topics and games on the site. Since the promotion launched, thousands of players followed over 50 different topics in hopes of scoring some sweet swag.

Any and all of the LEGO games have a kind of charm about them. Not a mind-blowing, “Good god those are good graphics and game play” kind of way, but they make you laugh, and follow a storyline of their own. Even though they don’t say a single word in English.

A few months ago we saw the phenomenon known as Harry Potter come to an end. Which we all know means video games! Thankfully it’s not the video game that comes out directly after a movie is released. Those all usually suck and you know it. I will say though that LEGO has managed to continually make amusing games based off of their corresponding movies.

The final chapter for LEGO Harry Potter has finally been revealed. LEGO Harry Potter Years 5-7 will come out for the PS3, Xbox 360, Wii, PSP, DS, and Nintendo 3DS on November 15^th. If you happen to own a PS3, you can grab a demo of the game on November 11^th when purchasing Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2. The humor in these games is always appreciated, and I will be a bit sad to see the last of this saga in LEGO form, but it doesn’t stop me from wishing it were closer to November.

Raptr, for those of you who haven’t joined yet, is a social networking site created specifically for gamers. The company has just announced that they have surpassed 10 million registered users, and this includes over one million daily users at any given time.

Raptr allows gamers to come together in a centralized hub where they can connect, learn about and share content, and make new connections to other gamers from around the world. Raptr includes data tracking features which help to display content and news based on players’ interests and gameplay activities.

This is a huge breakthrough for the company, and we’re glad to see this mark. If you’ve not registered for a Raptr account, I urge you to. The site offers gameplay and achievement tracking, and a lot of up-to-the-minute news in the industry. It’s a great way to meet new gamers, and keep track of your gaming progress. Easy Interactive has just announced a brand new title making its way to the Nintendo DS system. It’s called Max and the Magic Marker, and it’s shaping up to be a great, colorful title.

Max and the Magic Marker tells the story of Max, an adventurous young boy who receives a mysterious marker pen in the mail. Playing around with it, he discovers that whatever he draws comes to life and the stage is set for a classic platform adventure romp. The player controls Max, as well as the magic marker itself, as he hops and jumps through a series of levels using the marker’s fabulous powers to drawing objects directly onto the game world and solving a wide range of problems and puzzles in Max’s efforts to catch the monster he created using his magic marker.

The game is set to include:

• Three stunning worlds
• 15 challenging levels
• Variety of challenges, secrets and rewards to unlock
• Intuitive use of the DS stylus as the magic marker
• Original soundtrack by Danish band Analogik

Players can expect the game to arrive sometime this holiday season, so there’s plenty of time to save. It’s sure to be one of those titles that you can pick up for your younglings, and not have too much worry about what they’re getting into. Nintendo is certainly far from done with celebrating Zelda’s 25th anniversary. They’ve got free concerts, free games, and the release of Skyward Sword on the way, but they want to add more. This time the fans get the chance to get involved, in a very cool way.

Nintendo is asking gamers to fire up Flipnote Studios on their DSi systems to create new Zelda animatics. Gamers can then submit their creations to be judged by a panel, including some famous persons as Shigeru Miyamoto, Eiji Aonuma, Takashi Tezuka and Yoshiaki Koizumi. The winners will be posted on a new website celebrating the game’s anniversary for all to see.
