James Heller is out for revenge over the loss of his family due to the Mercer virus. We head back to a familiar New York to track down Alex Mercer, leaving a trail of destruction in our wake. Prototype 2 is a lot of senseless fun, though it's not something entirely new.

There’s just something about swashbuckling, plundering treasure, and capturing a maiden’s heart that speaks to all of us. In Risen 2: Dark Waters, each of these aspects comes to light in a story that’s weaved feverishly. Swashbuckle your way through enemies to defend the world against an ancient sea monster, if that's your thing.

It looks like a retail ad posted at a Fry’s location in Texas listed a possible release date for the upcoming Guild Wars 2 MMO. The photo above was taken at the retailer and comes courtesy of Kotaku. As of now, Guild Wars 2 still has an unannounced release date.

Diablo III released yesterday and it’s all over the community. Whether it’s players who have already shot through the game or those who can’t even start it, there’s still plenty to talk about. With Blizzard’s decision to require an “always-on” internet connection for Diablo III, that’s left a lot of people understandably upset. Since the launch last night, the frustration has only mounted.
