Own Your Very Own Pac-Man Arcade Cabinet

If one of your childhood dreams was to own your very own Pac-Man arcade cabinet, then you’ll be happy to hear that Namco has re-released one of their most popular cabinets. This full-sized arcade unit stays true to the original design, with only a few changes, one of which is a new 25th anniversary logo on the side.
The cabinet stands 58-inches tall, and weighs close to a ton. (So it’s actually only 237lbs, but have you ever tried to move one of those things? Not fun.) As a bonus, you’ll not only get the original Pac-Man, but also Speedy Pac-Man, Ms. Pac-Man and Rapid Fire Galaga. Unfortunately this piece of gaming history is going to set you back $3000. Personally, I’d rather find an original one in decent shape, rather than purchasing one of these brand new.
An Ocarina Built Into Your iPhone

Last week we mentioned where you could pick up an ocarina, well now you can have one on your iPhone. Just download the app and you can create all of your favorite Zelda songs directly on your iPhone. The app combines touch, tilt, gestures and your breath to create the music emitted from it. If you’re feeling creative you can create your own tunes and share them with others that have downloaded the ocarina. You can pick up the app at the iTunes App Store for 99 cents. Which is far cheaper than the $20-$300 ocarinas.
And I Think To Myself, Super Mario World
Man, YouTube has to be one of the greatest things to hit the internet since Flash games were created. It gives people with way too much time and creative talent an outlet for their work. Granted, that’s not always a good thing, but sometimes you come across a gem like this. If Loius Armstrong wrote a song about Super Mario World, I’m pretty sure it would have sounded exactly like this.
Rock Band 2 Bonus DLC Emails Are In The Wild

Just yesterday we were talking about the bonus DLC from Rock Band 2 being delayed. Well apparently “a couple of days” actually meant “tomorrow” since people started getting their emails already. Check your inbox, grab your 25-digit code and start downloading your 540MB worth of tracks.
I don’t know how many times I’ve heard people complain about the tracks contained within, but I honestly don’t see what the big deal is. I’d never heard of most of the bonus tracks from any of the Guitar Hero games, or the original Rock Band. I didn’t buy the games for extra songs, I bought them for the main set list, anything else is a bonus, thus they are called bonus tracks. These are just a thank-you from Harmonix for purchasing a new copy of the game, instead of grabbing it used. Now get to downloading already!
No Digital Download Of Wrath For A Little While

If you’re looking to download the Wrath of the Lich King when it comes out next week, it ain’t gonna happen. For those of you that haven’t taken advantage of it, you can download the full World of Warcraft client, and subsequently The Burning Crusade expansion from the WoW site. You’ll need to have a valid account, and in the case of the expansion, you’ll need to have purchased it as well.
Unfortunately when it comes to the new expansion, Blizzard won’t have it up starting on day one. In fact, TBC wasn’t up for a couple of weeks after it hit store shelves. I’d say that would be a fair way to judge when to expect the latest one to be available.
Saitek Announces Eclipse III Gaming Keyboard

When it comes to PC gaming, your peripherals can be just as important as the components inside your case. I’ve actually been using the Saitek Eclipse keyboards (the original, and II version since it came out), and they’re great. So naturally, I was excited to hear that they have announced a third version of their popular keyboard.
So what sort of features are we looking at for this new model? The color-changeable backlit keys are back, along with a two-stage height adjustment and removable wrist rest. This time around they’ve added in a touch-sensitive control panel, which sounds awesome. If it’s anything like the touch-sensitive controls I had on my old HP laptop, it’s definitely going to be a nice addition. They’ve also added in pass through headphone and mic ports, which will make things easier on gamers without such ports on the front of their cases. There’s no word yet on pricing or availability, but we’ll let you know when we find out.
Show Some Love For Our 8-Bit Alien Overlords

Are you an old school gamer? No, I don’t want to hear about your awesome NES skills, I’m talking about really old, Atari style. If you haven’t spent hours playing Pong, Pac-Man, Space Invaders and Araknoid, I’m not talking to you. If you’re looking for a way to show off your affinity for the classics, here are some awesome Space Invaders dog tags.
These excellent (and colorful) creations are the perfect way to show your love for our 8-bit alien overlords. There are 10 different styles to choose from, and you can pick them up for around $9 each.
Harmonix Announces Rock Band Track Pack Vol. 2

Those of you that haven’t splurged a week’s paycheck on DLC for Rock Band might be interested in hearing that Harmonix is releasing a second Track Pack disc. This time, rather than only giving it to those less-fortunate consoles that don’t have online stores, they’re making it available to the 360 and PS3 as well.
I think it’s safe to say that the AC/DC expansion pretty much set the bar for how Harmonix is going to release new disc-based content. Rock Band Track Pack Vol. 2 will work identically for both the 360 and PS3. You can pop the disc in and play through the tracks as a standalone title, or you can download them to your hard drive and just pop in one of your Rock Band discs and play that way. I can only assume that they will again be using a code to initiate the download, since that will encourage people to buy the discs new, rather than used. As for the PS2 and Wii, it sounds as though it will work just the same as the original Track Pack.
Bonus Rock Band 2 Tracks Delayed

Remember those 20 bonus downloadable tracks that came with Rock Band 2? Well, yesterday was supposed to be the big day, the one where you could actually get these songs. Unfortunately, there has been an “unexpected delay” according to Harmonix. Don’t worry though, Sean Baptiste has assured us that they are working their butts off, and we should have more info within a few days. Unfortunately, PS3 owners may be waiting longer than Xbox 360 rockers.
Score A $100 Gift Card When You Buy A PS3 At Walmart

It’s no small secret that the PS3 is the most expensive console this holiday season. Sony has already said that they have no intention of cutting prices (actually, they’re quite comfortable selling even more expensive bundles), so we have to turn to individual retailers for good deals. That said, if you’re looking to pick up said console for either yourself or a relative, then you might consider *shudder* heading to Walmart.
Yes, I hate Walmart, and you won’t find me anywhere near their electronics section this, or any other holiday season. However, if you want to save a hundred bucks, they’ve got a one-day sale going on this Saturday, November 8th. While getting a $100 gift card isn’t technically the same as saving a hundred bucks, it’s about as close as you can get. Just turn around and spend that card on groceries, gas or something else you’d planned on purchasing. Presto! Change-o! You’ve got cash.
