Blockbuster Cuts 40GB PS3 By $40

If you’re in the market for a PS3, you might want to head over to your local Blockbuster to get a good deal. I know, I still forget that the movie rental giant is even in the business of selling consoles, but for once, they are the place to go to for a good deal.

According to a memo, all of the 40GB PS3s in stock at your local Blockbuster have had their price cut by $40. This has been confirmed by several local stores, and is not a rumor. Sony claims that the price cut didn’t come from them, but may rather be a sign of Blockbuster wanting to clear out some inventory.
