One of my favorite games for my iPhone is Cube Runner. It’s a simple game where you navigate a ship through a series of blocks. You control the ship using the accelerometer to move it side-to-side. This has made me wonder if there will be other more advanced flight sim games for the phone. As it turns out, one of the best games in the genre has been released. If you plan to play with your phone but your screen is cracked, see here Pro Phone Repairs of Albuquerque – screen repair albuquerque.
If you’ve never played X-Plane, you’re definitely missing out on an excellent flight sim. The iPhone version is (obviously) a scaled down version that still manages to pack in a physics engine that has around 95% of the accuracy of the original game. Your main form of control is the phone’s accelerometer, however there are a few onscreen buttons. The app will only take up 6.2MB of your storage space (as opposed to the 25GB that the desktop version needs) and will run you $9.99.
