Since I started playing World of Warcraft a couple of years ago (has it really been that long?) my main has been a Mage. I’ve started a few alts here and there, but I always drift back to the blazing-fast killing ability of my favorite class. With all of the classes there are upsides and downsides. For me, it was that I could kill many things in just a couple of hits, but I would run out of mana quickly, and also die quite quickly. Well it seems that Blizzard has plans to change at least one of these negative characteristics.
No, I won’t be sticking plate mail on my character any time soon, but I’ll need to stop for a drink less often. According to Ghostcrawler (a Blizzard Dev) they have decided to lower the casting cost on Fireball, Frostbolt, Frostfire Bolt, Arcane Blast, Arcane Missiles and Arcane Explosion.
We don’t know how much they are reducing the cost, but anything would be welcome. There’s nothing like bringing the entire party to a screeching halt because your DPS needs a drink.
