Space Combat Confirmed For Star Wars: The Old Republic

All of the talk and hype surrounding Star Wars: The Old Republic has got me feeling like it’s 2002 again. Waiting to hear every snippet of info about the upcoming Star Wars MMO. One thing that many players wanted at launch (and were promised at one point) in Star Wars Galaxies was space combat. It wasn’t until a later expansion that SOE delivered. Well Bioware has announced this feature for SWToR, and I can’t wait.

We don’t have a lot of details, other than the fact that players will have their own customizable ships, which can be flown out into space for some good old-fashioned ship-to-ship combat. More details will be dropped in the October issue of PC Gamer magazine.
