Now I know a lot of you out there are still having trouble putting down Fable II, but avert your eyes just for a moment to gaze upon the enormousness that is Fable III!
Yes, we all know that Fable III has been in the works for some time now, and Lionhead Studios is making it top priority to produce a sequel that will keep its fans enthralled for some time to come. We all love Fable for different reasons, mine being the loving nature of farting around townsfolk. But, I digress. The Fable series has always been, in and of itself, a great series of games. We all love great games, and the more we learn about Fable III, the more we want to see of it.
At Lionhead Studios a Fable III preview event was held, all the way across the Atlantic in England, and at this event Design Director Josh Atkins touched on some of the elements that are making Fable III such a greatly anticipated title in an interview for the press.
Here is an excerpt from the interview, Josh’s few opening words:
“Today’s the day we’re showing you guys the first several hours of the game, which is very exciting. Kind of scary, because we’ve been working on it for quite a while, and it’s a bit like putting our baby out there and saying “we think this is pretty good!” It’s exciting! There’s a lot of new stuff to see and I think getting a feel of how the game works. We’ve talked a lot about ruling and about morphing weapons and we’ve talked about the Road to Rule in various forms. What we haven’t done is just said, “Here, play!” So it’s seeing how all this comes together into an experience.”
