Killzone 3 Shows Promise With Multiplayer Trailer
It seems to be a great year for Guerilla, the developer behind the Killzone franchise. It feels like yesterday the trailer for the campaign of Killzone 3 was released, and here we are only a couple of months later and this fresh new multiplayer trailer is here for all of our eyes to see.
Killzone 3 adds a plethora of new features, picking up from the footsteps of its preceding titles. Included in this new title are two new game modes, a completely revamped matchmaking system, BRUTAL melee attacks, new vehicles, and more ranks & abilities than you can handle!
This new multiplayer trailer is from a map called Corinth Highway, and features never-before-seen gameplay footage. In a broken city on the edge of Pyrrhus, the Helghast and ISA forces fight for ever inch of territory they can scrape in this land nuked by the Visari. On the other side of the Pyrrhus River, a brand new screenplay of war is developing. In the Corinth River level a new type of equipment is shown – the Exoskeleton. The Exoskeletons are a type of mech body suit that can be worn to provide an advantage in combat, working as a player-operated vehicle.
Guerilla seems to be turning the tide in the FPS business, and I, for one, am very much looking forward to getting in, strapping up, and letting the bullets fly in this sequel.
