2K Games and Gearbox Software announced on August 30th that the mega-splosive hit, Borderlands, will now offer a Game of the Year edition this Fall. The game will be available for the PS3, Xbox 360, and the PC. The game will be %59.99 for the consoles, and $49.99 for the PC.
This new addition will “provide fans with the ultimate experience to lock, load, and face the madness” that is Borderlands. More than 17 million unique weapons and loot will empower players to blast their way through all of Pandora’s inhospitable environments all while they leave behind a trail of blood and massacre. Players can level up through a solo campaign or invite friends to help, making the campaign more fun either through split-screen action or through online co-op.
Borderlands GOTY Edition will also come with tokens for download of the recently announced add-on DLC, Claptrap’s New Robot Revolution, as well as the three previously released downloadable add-ons – The Zombie Island of Dr. Ned, Mad Moxxi’s Underdome Riot, and The Secret Armory of General Knoxx. Also included will be a full map of the Borderland’s territories.
With this new edition, outside players will finally have the chance to be able to join in and experience what millions of Borderlands fans already adore. 2K Games along with Gearbox Software have packaged this new release to blow the shelves off of video game stores nationwide yet again.
Be looking forward to this release this coming Fall.
