Homefront Sets In A Release Date
An update on THQ’s Facebook page served as an official announcement of the release date of their new military FPS, Homefront. The date has been set as March 8th of next year.
Homefront takes place during the year 2027. The world is unraveling after fifteen years of economic meltdown and widespread global conflict over the planet’s dwindling natural resources. America, though once proud, has fallen. The country has been crippled by an EMP strike, and sits powerless to resist the occupation of a savage, nuclear armed Korean Republic. Players will join up to take a stand against the pursuing assailants, and take up arms to help America rise back once again to the proud country she once was.
I actually look forward to seeing more on this game. The storyline makes for an epic experience, and as soon as more gameplay footage makes its way onto the front, I am sure that Homefront will turn into a game that many players will desire and enjoy.
