While at the Call of Duty: Black Ops release party at the Bloomington Applebee’s, the Gamestop had a special treat for all of us who attended – a live DJ spinning tunes for the event. Adam Kabe, a local denizen and DJ, was invited to make his magic happen for all event attendees.
Kabe had a unique set up, and he was able to pump up the volume for all to enjoy. Spinning songs from favorite rap songs to Tetris dubstep mixes, Kabe was the perfect man for the job.
Kabe sometimes DJs at local clubs in town, but when introduced to the opportunity to spin at the Black Ops event, he was more than obliged to provide his talents. Being a gamer himself, Kabe felt that he fit right in to the atmosphere, and he knew how to give the crowd something they would enjoy. I was lucky enough to get the chance to meet up with Kabe, and get some footage of him in action. Take a look below at a short video of him putting his skills to work.
Kabe is a great guy, and was very interesting to talk to. I hope that I can see more of his work at future release events, and maybe even in town. If you’re into techno, dubstep, or just having a good time, be sire to look Kabe up on Facebook by going here.
