Excitebike’s Bikes Were Much Less Actually Exciting

Back in 1985 Nintendo kept all of us children glued to our television sets by introducing the magic of poorly designed motocross bikes and tracks.

With such shoddy craftsmanship, who can expect the bike to be something worth actually using? The blasted contraption overheated so much, it makes me smile at my red-ringed 360!

Okay, maybe I am over-exaggerating, but you know what I mean. In this week’s episode of Dorkly Bits, the pain of Excitebike is explained through real-world analysis.
