Portal 2 To Have More Content For Razer Owners

At this year’s CES in Las Vegas, we were introduced to the Razer Hydra – the PC controller that uses magnets to operate in the form of dual-stick hand controllers. Razer and Valve teamed up and provided a demo of Portal 2 using said controllers, and it went over really well. The use of the Hydra drastically helped players out in FPS games, and in Portal 2 the one-millimeter/one-degree accuracy achieved by using  the magnets allows for the perfect and pristine placement of portals, as well as the use of cubes to solve those mind-numbing puzzles we’ve become accustomed to.

Razer along with Valve recently announced that they have partnered together to create a series of Hydra-specific stages that will only be available to those who own the Razer Hydra controller for the PC. We don’t know what kind of stages these will be, nor how many will exist, but as soon as either Razer or Valve makes it known, we will surely let you know.
