How To Gain An Edge In Bulletstorm’s Echoes Mode

So you’ve blasted through the campaign mode in Bulletstorm, wasted every breathing thing on the planet, and now you’re wondering what’s next. Well we have just what you’re looking for. Bulletstorm’s Echoes mode is where you can put your awesome skill-shooting abilities to the test, and just in case you’re wanting some tips on how to perform at your best, People Can Fly’s Arcade Berg has just the thing you need.

In Echoes mode players can choose from certain maps to run through, in attempts to earn the highest amount of skillpoints as possible. The leaderboards keep track as players compete to gain the most points within the allotted time limit.

How do you gain the most points, you ask?

Berg has laid out an extensive set of tips on the PlayStation Blog, but don’t worry PC and Xbox 360 players – the same tips apply to you. Berg provides tips such as stringing your Skillshots together, sort-of stacking them. If you layer your Skillshots, like setting them ablaze before you kill them to earn the Afterburner Skillshot for each kill, you will rack up the points in no time flat.

Another tip is to keep things changing. Don’t perform the same Skillshot over and over again. You will usually get about five times the point value for every new Skillshot you discover whilst in Echoes mode.

There’s many more pointers available over on the PlayStation Blog, so I urge you to go check it out. Who knows, maybe soon you’ll be handing out Echoes mode tips on your own?
