Walmart Gamecenter Goes On Tour

“This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Lunchbox. All opinions are 100% my own.”

Playing games in the comfort of your own home is great, but sometimes it’s fun to get out of the house and game with people you’ve never even met before. Walmart seems to think this as well, as they’ve loaded up a trailer full of Xbox 360 and Kinect games and are taking it on the road to dozens of locations.

At each stop they’ll be giving you the chance to play some of the most exciting current and upcoming games. That’s right, they’re going to give you access to some games that aren’t even out yet. They will also be holding tournaments and giving out prizes to people who show up.

I’ll be the first to admit that when I think about gaming, Walmart isn’t the first name that comes to mind. However, it is good to see them trying to engage the gaming community. Especially when a lot of people turn to them for their purchases, due to a lack of dedicated gaming stores in the area. Also, I’ve been to a couple of similar tour bus events for different games, and they were always a blast. It looks like there’s a stop not to far from here later in the year, so the GamerFront crew will likely be in attendance. Be sure to check their tour map for a full listing of tour dates and locations.
