LEGO GLaDOS Comes To Life
Brandon Bannerman took the reigns on his creativity and was able produce this awesome LEGO version of GLaDOS from the Portal series. I really, really hope that this model gets picked up by the LEGO corporation as an official model. If, for some reason, this doesn’t make the cut I am sure there will be many of us who will cry huge tears of sadness.
Bannerman has a Flickr page that has many more shots of this LEGO GLaDOS. You can also find some shots of Chell there as well, which really shows the spectrum of this guy’s creative ability. Bannerman did a great job getting as many specifications from the full-size GLaDOS model as he could to recreate her in LEGO form, and I think it payed off handsomely.
There are tons of other video game characters that have been modeled in LEGO form in some way or another. I think it was about high time to see some Portal characters immortalized this way, don’t you? We’ve seen the turret, and now we can lay eyes on Chell and GLaDOS.
