Take A Look At Rocksmith
The video below is proof that rhythm games are surely not dead. Straight from Ubisoft is this preview for a new game called Rocksmith. It’s a demonstration video of what appears to be a Guitar Hero sort of title, but this time it’s strictly business. Players will use an actual guitar – any actual guitar of their choosing – and actually hit the correct notes on the fretboard in order to play the song on screen. It looks quite fun, though somewhat complicated. It’s a lot easier to show you than it is to explain, so take a peep at the video below.
What do you think of Rocksmith? Is it the true successor to the Guitar Hero franchise, or will it find an early grave like so many other competitors in this niche market? I suppose only time will tell.
