Gearbox Software has just announced a set date for the Duke Nukem: Forever demo, which is coming straight to the First Access Club before the rest of the masses. Members of the club will be able to play as Duke on June 3rd, able to experience the game they’ve been waiting on for years. If you’re not sure if you’re a First Access Club member, check out the FAQ posted by Gearbox here.
Randy Pitchford has stated that Duke is in certification for all platforms, which means that the game is basically finished. It will still release on June 14th in the states, so that hasn’t been changed.
You (and I) have all been waiting for this game for over a decade. Do you think Gearbox will be able to live up to the hype? Have you liked what you’ve seen so far? Be sure to get into that First Access Club if you haven’t already, and grab the demo when it hits next month.
