Magic: The Gathering Duels of the Plainswalkers 2012 Launches In June
Magic: The Gathering’s new digital title, Duels of the Plainswalkers 2012 will be arriving on June 15th, complete with a rare paper card bonus. The downloadable title will release on the Playstation Network, Xbox Live Arcade, and Steam for $10.
The paper card can be requested via snail mail by redeeming an in-game code online. Players can receive one of three cards, pictured below, courtesy of Joystiq. The cards are Grave Titan (XBLA), Frost Titan(Steam), and Inferno Titan(PS3). Each card comes with unique abilities, setting them apart from the others.
The previous MTG video game seemed to play out pretty well, and a lot of fans enjoyed it. Magic: The Gathering online is still a growing community, and tons of players continue to play regularly. Do any of you out there play the collectible card game? What deckbuilds are you currently using?
