Finally See The Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker HD E3 Demo

Though E3 has come and gone, we’ve finally got the footage of the Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker HD demo that was shown during the convention. This is just one of the HD upscales that Sony has in the works, and it looks great.

Now, the first thing I want to say is not to be too harsh on the person playing the demo. I am honestly convinced that they, whoever they are, have never played a MGS title in their lives. The concept of stealth is quite obviously either new to them, or lost on them completely.

Aside from that, the demo looks pretty good. I am glad to see that Sony is actively pushing for these titles to be reconstructed in HD. Mainly because I am one of the few who enjoys their PS3, but isn’t too big into handheld gaming. Honestly whenever I am out and want to play a game, I have my iPhone, so I don’t get to play most of these PSP titles. I am a huge fan of the Metal Gear Solid series, and it’s one that you have to follow every title in order to get the whole story. This is why I am excited to see some PSP titles being remastered in HD, along with some PS2 titles as well. Check out the game demo footage below and tell us what you think about the new HD endeavor.
