New Gears of War 3 Limited Edition Xbox 360 Bundle [E3 2011]

Microsoft announced at their conference during E3 that a new limited edition Xbox 360 bundle was coming, and they weren’t joking. For the fans of the Gears of War series, this is an announcement of pure bliss. Pictured above is the new Gears of War 3 Limited Edition bundle that will be available later this year, and we have the details on what you can get by picking it up.

The bundle will include the system pictured above, two custom wireless controllers, a 320GB hard drive, and a copy of Gears of War 3. It will also include a piece of DLC for the game, which is the Infected Omen Weapon Pack  and the Adam Fenix playable character in multiplayer. The weapon pack gives us the infected omen skin to use on the five starting weapons: Lancer, Retro Lancer, Hammerburst, Gnasher, and the Sawed-Off Shotgun. Also, the power and eject buttons on the console have been customized to play Gears of War sounds when pressed. The controllers are the more recent ones, including the transforming D-Pads.

The bundle is set to launch alongside the game, which is on September 20th this year. It will set players back a keen #399, but with all the extras included, it’s very much worth it. I know I will be picking one up later this year, and I will finally be saying goodbye to my original Elite.
