Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City’s E3 Premiere Trailer Is Here, In CGI [E3 2011]
The E3 premiere trailer for Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City is here, and though it doesn’t contain any gameplay, it’s still pretty wicked. That’s right, the entire trailer is in CGI, basically telling a story. We see through the eyes of Umbrella operatives who are charged with destroying evidence pertaining to Umbrella’s T-Virus mishap.
Set between Resident Evil 2 and 3, the game follows a set of four Umbrella special forces members, each with their own unique skill. Throughout the game your objectives are to locate and destroy any evidence tying Umbrella to the outbreak, all while surviving in the nightmare.
Even though the game seems to stray away from the classic Resident Evil I love, its premise makes sense and I am excited for it. I look forward to seeing more about the game at E3, which is now upon us. Check out the trailer below, and tell us what you think of the new title.
