Robin Soars Into Arkham City As A Retailer Exclusive
When Batman: Arkham Asylum released in 2009 it featured the Joker as a playable character for the game’s challenge maps in the PS3 version. The new title, Batman: Arkham City, will be a bit different, featuring Robin as a playable character as a retailer exclusive.
Fans who pre-order the game through Best Buy will be able to play as the Boy Wonder, straight from day one. Best Buy just posted the details on their official site, which was verified by Arkham City’s official site. Robin will be playable in two of the game’s challenge maps.
Arkham City will release on October 18th, and right now I would say this is the way to get it. No other playable characters have been announced besides Catwoman, which we’ve known about. We’ll be sure to keep an eye out for more information on other possible retailer exclusive props.
