Team Fortress 2’s ‘Meet The Medic’ Makes It Cool To Uber Heal
It’s been two long years since we saw Team Fortress 2’s “Meet The Team” video, and we’re feeling a bit parched. That’s why excitement filled the room when we learned of the new “Meet the Medic” video from Valve. The video, while humorous, is educational and gives us a perfect introduction to the man behind the Ubercharge.
In the video we see just how torn and riddled with bloodshed the battlefield can be. Like a white knight the medic stands proud, ready to zap any team member back into the fight with the coveted Ubercharge cannon. On top of this, he’s a bit crazy. Hey, every man’s gotta give a bit of a sacrifice, right?
This, of course, comes with the game’s “Uber Update,” which has also led to the game becoming Free-To-Play indefinitely. Check out the video below, change those trousers, and tell us what you think. Isn’t it pure Team Fortress bliss?
