Details On Batman: Arkham City’s Collector’s Edition

Warner Brothers Interactive has finally pulled the sheath off of the Collector’s Edition of Batman: Arkham City. We finally have details on what it looks like, and what it includes, and those details are right here for you. This edition will be available as soon as the game launches for the Xbox 360 and the PS3, and PC.

Here’s what you’re looking at:

  • Custom Batman statue produced by Kotobukiya
  • Collectible art book
  • Early access to the Iceberg Lounge Challenge Map and Batman: The Dark Knight Returns skin
  • Batman: Arkham City album from WaterTower Music including original songs by hit artists, available via digital redemption
  • Bonus DC Universe animated original movie, Batman: Gotham Knight
  • Four collectible cards

This edition will cost you $99.99, which is a bit hefty according to some players. I personally think that this is a puffed-up version of the game that’s stuffed with swag. I know that most collector’s editions of games are, but this one takes the cake. A statue seems like a pretty cool idea, though it’s never done well. And these special cards? What could they be used for? Collector’s edition to me means some special art, maybe an art book, you know, something worth collecting. Either way, it doesn’t disappoint too bad,but it’s not super awesome either. What do you think?
