New BloodRayne: Betrayal Screens

WayForward has taken the BloodRayne series and reimagined it in fluid, cell-shaded fury. The new game will be an adventurous side-scroller, in which players control Rayne as she releases her inner carnage on helpless henchmen.

A lot of fans feel like the previous titles in the series just didn’t do it any justice, and therefore many feel scorned. There are some die-hard BloodRayne fans out there who love the story, though they don’t play the game. Hopefully this one will break that chain, and it’s looking to be that way.

Above are some brand new screens from the game, depicting its amazing art style. BloodRayne: Betrayal will be available for the PS3 on August 30th via the PSN, and it will hit the Xbox 360 on August 31st on Xbox Live Arcade. For once, an online title will hit the PS3 first. Go figure.
