Borderlands 2 Will Be Coming In 2012

According to a report filed by Eurogamer, Gearbox Software will be releasing a sequel to one of the greatest FPS/RPG mash-ups of all time, Borderlands. The sequel is set to arrive sometime next year.

The developer has refrained from releasing any comment on the matter, though the game’s publisher has already hinted at a sequel in the past. “We have long term publishing rights to sequels of Borderlands and expect this to become a key franchise for Take-Two,” as was stated by Ben Feder back in 2009, who was then the CEO of 2K Games.
