Risen 2 Set To Plunder A Console Near You

Deep Silver has set their sights high with Risen 2. The gameplay footage from the trailer looks rather well done and from the cinematic trailer released a few months back, the story seems intriguing as well.

Risen 2: Dark Waters is a pirate RPG for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC, not much else has been officialy released yet. The gameplay trailer starts with a look at a ship leaving port and the moves to a burning port city. Then the epic voice over begins and starts to speak of saving the world, it then shows the character from the debut trailer drunk. Next is what it becoming one of my favorite quotes of heroism “Saving the world means saving all of it, even the inquisition and their ways and not just the parts of it the suit you.” Then you hear the words “you’re on Captain SteelBeard’s ship now” (Steelbeard being an NPC from the first Risen). Soon follows a series of epic events you will have to watch the trailer to see.

Risen 2: Dark Waters appears to be an enthralling RPG that might just end up luring me in. With so many RPG’s releasing these days I’m hoping Risen 2 will bring something new to the controller. Make sure you take a gander at the gameplay trailer below and leave us your feed back.
