Net Loot: This Is Some HARDcore Resident Evil, With Just A Knife

Resident Evil, while being one of my most favorite titles to date, can be most certainly unforgiving on some of its higher difficulties. That being said, Youtube user Scotty Johnson, who operates under MachinimaRespawn, is either the most hardcore Resident Evil players I’ve seen, or just bloody mad.

In the video you will see below, Johnson attempts to take on the 2002 remake of the original Resident Evil title for the Gamecube, not only on it’s hard mode, but he only uses a knife as his weapon of choice all the way through the game. This means he will only be able to stab his way past zombies, Hunters, Crimson Heads, and even the Tyrant. Godspeed, Johnson, godspeed.

Though it sounds impossible, it can be done. I’ve seen a few players take down the Tyrant in the original game for the PSOne using only the knife, though it seemed to take forever.
