Details On Mass Effect 3 Co-Op Multiplayer

In Mass Effect 3’s co-op multiplayer mode, it’s all about the races working together. This is, at least, according to Casey Hudson himself. In a very special episode of BioWare Plus, Hudson speaks on some details about what we’ll see with the newly-added gameplay mode.

Though this is a new feature being installed into Shepard’s last journey in the Mass Effect series, Hudson really wants to drive home that the multiplayer mode will not take away from the game’s single-player story. In the video he talks on how the third game in the franchise is the “beginning, middle, and end of the galactic war,” and it is a perfect starting game for new players getting into Mass Effect. Because of this, Hudson thinks it was a great opportunity to add multiplayer to the game.

A lot of players are torn over this new announcement, and it’s easily expected. On one hand players think that the newly-added feature will take much away from the game’s storyline, while others think it will be a completely different experience altogether. Check out the video below, and you can come to your own conclusion.
