Last Tuesday we had the announcement of the PS Vita’s launch date, February 22nd. Yesterday, Hardware Marketing Director John Koller revealed on the PlayStation Blog that you can take home your PS Vita a week before anyone else, if you purchase the First Edition Bundle.
Keep in mind, this is only happening in the US and Canada, and even then it’s only going to be available for a limited time, and in select locations. In other words, you are likely going to be a die-hard fan if you do this. If you are just brimming with excitement, know that you will receive a PS Vita 3G+WiFi model, a limited edition case, 4GB PS Vita Memory Card, and Little Deviants game for $349.99 for the US First Edition Bundle. If you’re in Canada, you will get a Wi-Fi model, a limited edition case, 4GB PS Vita Memory Card, and Little Deviants game for $299.99.
If you do make this decision, you can pick up your PS Vita on February 15, 2012. Aside from getting it before most everyone else around you, you can sit in the squishy comfort of knowing that you have it before other countries as well. Enjoy.
