Minecraft On Xbox 360 Will Be Available First At Minecon

Minecon is coming up next month, and if you’re an Xbox 360 owner then you’ll have your first chance to play Minecraft on the console at this event. This port is being handled by 4J, and will be available for play during the entire weekend of the convention.

Minecraft on Xbox 360 is still under development, and so far Mojang is delighted with its progress. “We want to keep the core experience of the original PC version intact, while ensuring the game fits its new platform,” says the developer.  Microsoft is also going to be present at the convention, and is a huge sponsor for the event.

This is definitely going to be a big event for not only the fans, but the developer as well. Mojang is getting into the gaming world in Sin City, with their biggest ever event. Minecon will be something to remember for a long time, and I am so looking forward to checking it out. You better get your pickaxes ready, Minecraftians.
