Warner Brothers Working On DLC Fix Issues For Arkham City

So Batman: Arkham City is out, and those who picked it up on the PS3 are already having some issues, though not with the game itself. No, these players are experiencing trouble with the DLC codes for Catwoman. These issues come in wide variety and have the community baffled.

Some players report the code bugging out and not working while others say they didn’t receive a code at all included with their game. Then again, some players even say that the received multiple codes for the same piece of content. Players are sitting confused, and eagerly waiting for a response to this stumping issue.

According to Warner Brothers, players need to keep an eye out for the official Arkham City Twitter account for updates. So far the account has just stated that these players “will get to play as the sexy thief,” though they will need to “stay tuned for updates.” Right now we’re sitting penguins, Warner. Don’t leave us at the end of our grappling guns. We’ll update as soon as we get more word on the matter.

[Update:] According to a tipster via Joystiq, Warner Brothers customer service is handling the issue with a five step process. When the tipster called in, the customer service representative told him to provide the following:

  • Email address
  • Dated proof of purchase showing the purchase of a NEW copy of the game
  • Gamertag for Xbox Live, profile for PSN
  • Scanned or digital picture of the package and game discs
  • Scanned or digital picture of the code sheets

Once the company receives this information, customer service promises to “escalate” the issue in efforts to get a code pushed out to the player. If you’re looking to pick up your download codes, this is the way to go about it.
