Metroid II: The Return of Samus Hits Nintendo eShop For Thanksgiving

If you’re a Nintendo fan, chances are you’ve been one for a long time. This would also mean that you’re a fan of classic Nintendo games, dating all the way back to the original Nintendo system. If this is true, we’ve got some good news.

Nintendo has made a promise to release a steady flow of of downloadable games to the Nintendo eShop, and they’ve been doing a good job so far. Still, though, some players feel that the selection is lacking. Well just in time for Thanksgiving there will be a new release title on the eShop that should make plenty of players happy. Metroid II: The Return of Samus will be making its arrival during the holiday.

There won’t be a 3D upgrade for the game, as it will release in its original 2D form. It’s a great game, and perfect for any fan of the series. Still, players just like me will be awaiting the release of Super Metroid on the SNES eShop list. Until then, this will do nicely.
