RAAM’s Shadow Achievement List Revealed, Adds New Roads To Combat
Epic Games has just revealed the achievement list for the upcoming Gears of War 3 DLC, RAAM’s Shadow. While there are the run-of-the-mill storyline achievements, there are a few that stand out among them. These certain achievements hint at some new ways to fight in the stunning shooter.
The first achievement to look for is the “I’m Rubber, You’re Glue” achievement. This achievement sees players reflecting bullets off of a shield as a mauler, killing COG Gears in the reflecting debris. This is new, mainly because it puts the player in more of a defensive mode as opposed to rushing the offensive as you normally do in Gears. This will come as something new, and add something new to the series.
Second, we have the “Finger of Doom” achievement. In order to earn this, players must use RAAM’s Kryll to destroy 50 Gears. This is unique, as Kryll didn’t really show up in Gears of War 3. In fact, they mainly showed in the second game, in which RAMM made his appearance. This will be something new to see, and terribly fun to use.
Finally, there is the “Death from Above” achievement. By using the new Hammer of Dawn Command Center upgrade, players will need to kill 50 Locust. Doing this, players will pick up a slick 15 Gamer Points. A new upgrade for Horde mode? I think so, yes.
