So the initial rounds of the DotA 2 have come and gone, and you’ve been left standing alone in the darkness. Though that’s upsetting, there’s some news out for the game that just may change your luck. Valve has just completed the first significant expansion of the game’s server capacity across the entire world. With this expansion comes just what you’ve been waiting for – another chance to jump in the beta.
The first part of the DotA 2 official comic, Tales from the Secret Shop, has been released. If you want to take a shot at getting a place in the beta, you’ll need to take a look at the comic for yourself. Once you’ve indulged, you can take a survey here and you’ll earn a chance to play the game. Of course, you’ll need to make sure your Steam client is up to date.
The coolest part of this information from Valve is the gift they’re giving to players. You see, the developer knows that DotA is a game where it’s much more fun with friends, so everyone who gets a copy of the game will be receiving two extra copies to hand out to their buddies.
