Send A Message To Valve By Playing Half-Life 2 This Saturday

Do you have any plans this Saturday? If you own the game Half-Life 2 for the PC, then there’s something you should be doing. Of all days to play this particular title, why Saturday? Because fans of the franchise are rallying together to try and get this game into Steam’s “most played” list for the day.

The reason that everyone is banding together is to send a message to Valve. While PC gamers are generally happy with the company, due to the high quality of their games, and the Steam platform, there is one thing that they aren’t happy with. Communication. It’s been years since the 3rd episode of Half-Life 2 was supposed to be released. However, we’ve not heard so much as a peep.

So this Saturday, February 4th, from 11:00AM – 11:30AM PST people will be logging into the game and playing. It’s only a half hour, so you’ll have plenty of time to slay dragons and kill jedi. But for those 30 minutes, we’re sending a message to Valve. We don’t want them to release a game that isn’t finished, we’d just like to know how it’s coming along. If you want to take part, you might consider joining this Steam group, which is where the idea spawned.
