Twisted Metal Delayed In Europe Until March

Okay, nobody panic. Unless you’re in Europe and dying to play the new Twisted Metal. It’s looking like some localization issues are stalling the release of Twisted Metal in Europe, and may take up to a month to come out. Even if this isn’t such great news, at least the demo that released on the 31st is available until you can get the real thing.

There’s no definite date out just yet, so it could be the 1st or the 31st, which is not altogether comforting. Those in North America will be pleased to know that launch day is still on for February 14, better known as Valentine’s Day. What better way to let your loved ones know you care?

Anyhow, alongside the delay in Europe, that version is also going to have some modifications. David Jaffe said that some gameplay elements have been changed slightly, and some cutscenes have been censored by the SCEE. Even with this censoring, the stories will still be in tact, so don’t worry about missing something major. The gameplay edits that were mentioned were minor; things like changing a screaming corpse into a lifeless cadaver. How boring.
